The area has a cool climate & an abundance of water, making it ideal for growing a wide range of grape varieties. Generous flavours of red berry fruit & ripe plums & a soft & supple texture on the palate. The tannins are smooth & complemented by touches of oak. A great wine to drink with simple red meat dishes such as homemade burgers, beef sausages or pork chops.
