Made from a blend of 80% Syrah & 20% Grenache, the grapes used to make this wine are hand picked & vinified separately to preserve & concentrate the flavours. Wine produced in Minervios has been produced since Roman times & was remarked upon by Pliny. Delicious aromas of red berry fruits, particularly raspberry & cranberry, as well as a hints of violet. The palate of red fruits, spice & oak, a smooth & rich body, with ripe tannins. Excellent with rich casseroles, game dishes & cassoulet.
