Product Description

CVNE only use their Imperial label in exceptional vintages. Widely held as a five-star vintage for Rioja, 1995 saw the beginning of a run of excellent vintages for the region in the mid 1990s. This wine offers a classic profile, combining aromas of matured fruit cake & old leather with a savoury, liquorice-tinged palate. Drinking well now, but will cellar for several more years.
