Product Description

A wonderful Chardonnay produced predominantly from very low-yielding Mendoza clone vines planted over 20 years ago. Natural fermentation due to ‘wild’ yeasts slows both the onset & duration of fermentation, resulting in a very textural, multi-faceted wine. With hints of peach & orange blossom & underlying notes of fig & clover honey, plus a light touch of superbly integrated French oak. Winner of the Top New Zealand Chardonnay Trophy at the 2009 London International Wine Challenge.
