dimmer, with a low
energy replacement and
therefore saving you
money on energy bills.
With these light
dimmerable light bulbs
there are a few points to
note before
purchase: Warm Up Before
trying to dim the light
bulb needs at least 2
minutes "warm up" time
should be allowed on full
power. Once at full
brightness smooth dimming
between 10-100% of its
full brightness can take
place. Dimmer Types These
light bulbs are
compatible with most
electronic and digital
dimmers for incandescent
(regular) and halogen
light bulbs but may not
be suitable for touch or
remote controlled
dimmers. Please note:
Dimming to 10% of the
light output depends on
the specification of the
dimmer. Minimum & Maximum
loads Each dimmer will
have a minimum and
maximum range, for
example Min: 60w to Max:
360w, which means
incandescent and halogen
total wattage should fall
between these two values.
However, with energy
efficient light bulbs
they use less energy then
standard and therefore
reduce both the Min & Max
wattage on the dimmer by
a factor of 6 on the
minimum and 5 on the
maximum.
Example: Minimum:                      60w
Incandescent & Halogen
(60w / 6 =
10w)                                    10w
