Matthieu Paillard:
An interior architect and designer, he founded the agency Jam in London in 1994 in partnership with two designers, with whom he is co-director. The agency's client base includes Sony, Philips and Whirpool, designing products and developing, through its creations, a mode of design centred on the reclamation of industrial materials.
In 2005, he founded 'Agent M' in Paris. This framework bears witness to his constant desire to work with a variety of personalities from a range of different backgrounds: design, architecture or the plastic arts. Thus, instead of being limited to just one angle he is able to embrace each and every individual aspect of a project, ceaselessly seeking complementarity, discovery, and the surprise which is the hallmark of a successful project.

Mathias Hahn:
Born in Germany in 1977, product designer Mathias Hahn lives and works in London. A graduate of the Royal College of Art, he studied industrial design under Ron Arad. Having previously trained as an industrial designer at the University of Essen, Germany, he has always worked as an independent designer, collaborating with the industry on a wide variety of projects, acquiring experience in the Product Design Departments of Volkswagen and Tom Dixon. At the end of 2006 he co-founded OKAYstudio in London, where he works as an independent designer and product research advisor.
Thanks to his experience in the field of industrial design, taking into account production and manufacturing processes, Mathias Hahn is able to devise well-considered products designed with both daily use and functionality in mind.
In describing his creative process he refers to an intuitive approach, a mixture of experimental curiosity and functional simplification through utility. Considering his workshop and studio to be a laboratory for the design process, he devises and develops useful products which demonstrate simplicity, humanity and even humour.

Creating pieces such as Sol-air (a halogen light perched on a carbon fibre tube), Lamp06 (a study on the structure of a classic shade) or the Prism ceiling light with its three-dimensional frame, her hallmark is coherent lines displaying essential character.
