Cabildo dimmable designer floor lamp featuring high-power LEDs The appearance of Artemide’s LED floor lamp Cabildo is characterised by round shapes. The designer Eric Solè, who created this model, emphasises that a light must not only give the user light, but also a certain sense of well-being. In addition it should also posses a certain life of its own. Cabildo’s life force flows from its curved shape, & its indirect light serves to maintain well-being. This is created by LEDs located on the inside of the ring structure that emit their light upwards, where it is reflected from the white body of the light fixture & the ceiling before escaping into the room. The brightness of the light can be regulated using a touch dimmer. French designer Eric Solè designed the Cabildo light for the Italian company Artemide, based near Milan. Artemide is known worldwide for its designer lamps that combine aesthetics, innovation & sustainability. Our own production facilities, glass factories & research centres form the foundation for the quality of the end products. Several prizes & design awards confirm the success of Artemide.
