The lampshade, which features real wood veneer on both sides, has an atypical structure for wood. The light wood features a characteristic grain, which creates a strong colour contrast thanks to the dark stain. The so-called Zebrano wood comes from the caesalpinia family & is found in tropical forests. This fact alone is testament to the extraordinary quality of this hanging light. Then there is the long-lasting LED technology, which is used in Talu. Six Citizen LEDs emitting 2, 700 K of cosy warm white lighting perfectly set the scene for the extraordinary grain on the wood.
