Product Description

Ceiling light Icarus: stylised mythology Icarus, besides being the name of this ceiling light is also the name of a figure from Greek mythology. That of a young man who wanted to fly to the sun with feather wings held together by wax, yet the wax melted & Icarus fell. The light gives the impression that the designer had the legend in mind: The lampshade could be stylised to represent the sun & the small chains made from lead crystal rings are perhaps the last feathers of Icarus' wings, slowly falling back to Earth. With this, the ceiling light Icarus truly has something mythological to it. Energy efficiency class:A++
