It is possible to push the lamp far enough in or out that the diameter can be varied between 28.5 & 48.5 cm & the height is between 76 cm & 85 cm. This adjustability not only contributes to the transformation of the lamp's appearance but it also represents a change in the lighting situation. When the shade of the pendant lamp is narrow & tall, then very light light is emitted & the atmosphere in the room is especially dignified. When the design of the light is broad & not as high in comparison, then the fins are apart sufficiently that more light can be emitted. Because of the satin-finished glass diffuser inside the shade, the light emitted by the Chasen is still a very pleasant form of lighting.
