This LUMi Life High Powered 5 Metre strip is IP20 & therefore non-waterproof & ideally suited for applications where the striplight will not be exposed to water or steam. The unit is the brightest single-row striplight within the LUMi Life range & is Approx. 3x brighter than its ‘ Small Chip’ counterpart – perfect if you are wanting to have maximum light output. Applications for this unit would typically include installations where the striplight is being covered such as Backlighting or where the strip in being used within an Aluminium Profile.  in addition, it is not uncommon for this strip to be used in any dry areas where a secondary light source is required whether it be as an uplight or downlight. If you are considering a Multicolour option to be used in a dry location then this strip is perfect
- each LED Chip along the strip is able to render thousands of shades of colours (this is not the case with the Small Chip version). Remember that you can control the brightness when used in conjunction with the LUMi Life RGB Dial Controller. It’s possible to make multiple lengths out of the 5m roll – simply cut along any visible cut mark along the led strip & connect your wires to the end of the new piece of strip you now wish to join. These LED strips are 10mm wide & five metres long which is just over 16 ft. There are 60 LEDs per metre each about 10mm apart with visible cut marks every 50mm. Each roll of striplight comes complete with self-adhesive 3M backing tape for easy application.
