The Tanaka TCH 22 ECP2 (62) double-sided hedge trimmer is a compact petrol hedge cutter with a Quick Twist rear handle, 620mm length cutter blades, spring type anti-vibration system & a 22cc Pure Fire 2-stroke engine with smooth S-Start recoil starter. The 22cc petrol engine produces 0.65kw of power. The Tanaka brand has been part of the Hitachi Koki group since 2007. The Quick-Twist handle on the Tanaka TCH 22 ECP2 (62) hedge cutter adjusts through 90 degrees & 5 different locking positions using a simple lock button on the top of the handle. This adjustment allows for easy vertical cutting & shaping & is suitable for both left & right handed users. As a safety feature the throttle lever cannot be engaged until the lock lever has been secured. With the Tanaka S-Start recoil between 30
- 50% less pulling force is required. It is ideal for those who like to have smooth, easy pull engine starting.
