The Stiga SMT48AE 48v Cordless Multi-Tool is a handy additional to your gardening tools. The SMT48AE is powered by a 48v lithium-ion battery (not included) & these batteries are interchangeable with the other cordless gardening tools in the 48v range. There are many advantages to cordless tools including the freedom of cable-free working, the low-noise levels & the zero emissions. With a fully charged battery the hedgecutter has a run time of 25 minutes & the pruner 18 minutes. Designed to combine a hedge cutter & pruner, the Stiga SMT48AE offers versatility around your garden. The power unit has an easy push button start, extendable shaft & removable harness. The hedgecutter attachment has a 50cm blade length, a cutting capacity of 20mm & its dual action laser cut blades smoothly maintain tall hedges & hedge tops, reducing the need for ladders. The hedgecutter has 8 adjustable cutting positions to ensure every angle is covered. The pole pruner has a 20cm head which saws through branches up to 10cm in diameter. It benefits from an automatic oiler, which lubricates the chain whilst in use. Just as the hedgetrimmer, the SMT48AE pruner attachment makes use of the extendable shaft giving you the capacity to cut high & awkward branches. Battery & charger sold separately.
