The Hayter Osprey 46 h&-propelled mower (HA610) has a 46cm / 18 inch cutting width & is powered by a Briggs & Stratton 450e Series engine. Briggs & Stratton are the most widely used petrol lawnmower engines in the world. They are highly experienced in making an engine that is compact, reliable and economical. The Osprey 46 push mower can be used for 3 different mowing types Cut & Direct Collection. Traditional cut & collect into a grass bag Rear Discharge. Remove the grass bag & the grass cuttings are ejected directly onto the ground behind the mower. Use in longer grass areas where the cuttings can be left to wilt back naturally. Mulching. The grass cuttings are cut then re-cut into very small pieces which are blown back onto the ground. These cuttings are so tiny they virtually disappear into the lawn. These recycled grass clippings add extra moisture & nutrients to grass roots so they grow stronger & healthier. The cutting heights on the push Osprey 46 mower are very simply changed with a single lever from 25 – 70mm. The 55l grass bag is of a fabric design with a wide opening & integrated grab handle for ease of emptying. Hayter have even added a cleaning port. Attach a hose pipe to the port to clean the underside of the deck of any grass build up. Keeping the mowing deck & blade clean can prolong the life of the mower. Free Service Kit
