The self-propulsion enables the user to cover more ground & with less effort than by using a push mower. The 1500w brushless motor produces the same power as a 100cc petrol engine but with less noise or pollution. No having to measure amounts or top up with petrol or oil. Constructed on a steel chassis the Mountfield S46 PD Li self-propelled cordless mower has a 46 cm cutting width & comes complete with a 60 litre grass box & mulch kit. The height of cut adjustment is in 5 increments from 27 – 80mm. Start at the top setting & work down gradually through the cutting heights for the best cut and finish. When using the mower for mulching only cut a third of the grass height at a time to ensure the best cut & finish on the lawn. Mulching whilst you mow finely chops the grass clippings into tiny pieces where they are blown back onto the ground, virtually disappearing into the lawn. These tiny pieces help to add extra nutrients & moisture to the soil for a healthier lawn growth.
