Product Description

The Mountfield 1538M-SD offers the perfect solution for those of you who do not wish to collect your grass clippings. In tall growth conditions the side discharge mode neatly cuts & spreads the grass so it can be left to wilt naturally. For areas that are being mown on a more regular basis the mulching function cuts & re-cuts the grass into small particles that disappear into the turf, returning valuable nutrients to the soil. Powered by a 432cc single cylinder Mountfield engine the 1538M SD has a manual transmission with 5 forward & a reverse gear. It is fitted with a 98cm/38in working width cutter deck with side discharge or mulch options. Height of cut is easy to adjust from 25-80mm with 7 settings. This model comes complete with a tow bar & mulching plug Cutting
