Mitox range of horizontal electric log splitters introduced in 2013. Log splitters make the difficult, time consuming job of cutting logs for firewood easy. Simply place your log into the splitter & watch as a perfect sized log is cut. The Mitox LS45 has a powerful 1500 watt mains electric motor which produces a splitting force of 4 tonnes & will accept logs up to 52cm in length. The wide log cradle makes the Mitox LS45 well balanced & you can place the logs easily & not have to hold them in place while the log splitter is working. All the Mitox log splitters feature the Quicksplit return control which lets you determine how far the steel push block returns after each splitting movement. Set for exact, correct log length splitting on each cut. The LS45 can be moved & transported easily with it's large easy-rolling wheels. The two handed operationwith handguard prevents your hands being pinched by the machine. When the switch is released, the pushblock returns to its start position.
