Rob Dolan has been a Yarra Valley mover & shaker for 20 odd years. When he was at Yarra Ridge estate he attained international stardom. These days he makes wine under his own name, sourcing the finest grapes from his numerous vineyard owning buddies across the region. The Yarra river, known to the local indigenous population as Birrarung, or River of Mist, is the inspiration for Robs fabulous Chardonnay that defines the perfectly balanced elegant style the region is famous for these days. Part fermented & aged in well seasoned barrels, this wine has a subtle oak influence that comes through in its spicy, cashew nut complexity. Very much dinner party quality, its best enjoyed with grilled or barbecued seafood, sushi or lemon chicken.
