Product Description

Maison Brotte, an independent family business now in its third generation, has always been at the forefront of innovation. The founder, Charles Brotte, was one of the first to begin estate bottling in Chteauneuf du Pape &, in 1954, released his famous non-vintage cuvee La Fiole. The estate has always enjoyed a reputation for reliable quality &, under the guidance of Charles grandson Laurent, "has enhanced dramatically" (Robert Parker). Assisted by renowned consultant Philippe Cambie, Laurent Brotte has produced a truly memorable Special Reserve from some of the finest recent vintages. Though delicious now it will continue to develop complexity over the next couple of years. A lovely partner to beef stew, game pie or roast pheasant.
