Two selectable speed stages allow you to customise the fruit pressure & accelerate the stainless steel microstrainer up to either 17, 000 or 20, 000 rpm, controlled by the 400W motor. In addition, the juicer has a torque or pulse function, which can be operated intermittently to give you ultimate control over the specific fruit you are juicing. The start-stop protection ensures that the juicer only runs when the lid is securely in place. With a rather large opening of 6 cm, the Klarstein Fruit Tornado means that you can input even larger pieces of fruit. If fruit pieces do not pass through easily at first, they can be gently helped along with the included food pusher. The centrifugal principle is more gentle than conventional juicers, which keeps all of the fruit or vegetable vitamins, minerals, & nutrients intact. In addition, the juice is produced faster & the yield is far higher than other products on the market. While the juice goes through the front metal spout directly into the Glass & Co. carafe, any residual pressed fruit is collected separately in a 1-litre collecting container on the rear side of the unit.
