The Bosch AKE 35-19S Electric Chainsaw has a 1900 watt ' High Power' motor & 35cm (14 inch) bar with tool-free chain tensioning. This optimum balanced chainsaw features the Bosch SDS system for quick & easy tool free chain tensioning & changing. The high chain speed can cut through the toughest wood quickly & cleanly. The Chain Brake is a Brake to stop the chain going round. When the chainsaw is delivered the brake will be in the on position. It is very important that you familiarise yourself with the use of the Chain Brake. To take the brake off the brake lever should be pulled strongly towards the main handle. An audible click will be heard. Practice putting the brake on & off before you start the chainsaw. If you attempt to run the saw with the brake in the on position you will irreparably damage the machine. The 3x chrome extra long life chain stays sharp for longer & the innovative ergonomic design of the all round handle ensures a firm hold for accurate cutting at any angle. The 7 steel gripping teeth hold the saw firmly on the wood for increased stability & for added safety it has a rapid reaction kick back brake. The high speed chain with a chromed surface runs at 12m/sec for fast precise cutting & it has automatic oil lubrication to minimise chain wear.
