Named after a French nurseryman who produced the world's first plant catalogue in 1621. Stout stems hold whorls of tubular flowers, some pale pink & some almost red. As each flower is fertilised it becomes darker, encouraging insects to fertilise the lighter coloured ones. The glossy foliage is evergreen in a mild winter & releases an amazing citrus scent when brushed against. Height 60cm (24"). Spread 30cm (12"). Prefers full sun in moist well drained soil. Fully hardy perennial.
