Sow Feb to June or September to October. Soak seed overnight before sowing & germinate at 20-30C on the surface of a good free-draining damp seed compost. Apply a layer of compost or vermiculite 3mm deep. Place in a propagator or seal container inside a polythene bag until after germination which usually takes 18-21 days. Transplant when large enough to handle into 7.5cm pots & place in cooler conditions. After all risk of frost plant out 30cm apart.
