Whats more, this well balanced, easy-drinking wine is great to enjoy on its own, or with steaks, spicy dishes & mature cheeses. The second option is a soft, fruity Vin de Pays from the sunny vineyards of southern France. Made using a blend of carignan & merlot grapes, its a wine full of ripe, red fruit flavour, with a really smooth finish. Better still, its great with a huge range of foods or on its own. & finally, theres the best of the bunch ? the Appelation Controllee. Made from our best cuvées of this vintage, this Côtes du Rhône ? Gentilhomme? has been aged in large oak barrels in ancient cellars. The ageing in barrels results in aromas of vanilla, cocoa, spices & leather that go brilliantly with red meats & cheeses.
