Norfolk Chocolates just love chocolate, so much in fact they specialise in making all things chocolaty, from truffles & cakes, cupcakes & pastries. They use the best quality, ethically sourced Belgian chocolate, home grown herbs & fresh local ingredients wherever they can. This tasting session takes place in Norfolk Chocolates’ own charming farmhouse, where the owner herself resides, situated in the heart of the glorious North Norfolk countryside. You will have the option to choose between a chocolate truffle making or macarons workshop. The two hour Chocolate Truffle Making session is an adult workshop showing you how to create these delightful treats using seasonal fruits, spices & herbs. You will temper some chocolate to dip & roll your truffles, adding the finishing touch with a selection of decorative products. You will go home with Approx. 36 truffles which you will bag & ribbon. The Macarons class will teach you all you need to know to make these elegant little creations including the tricky macronnage technique. In this two hour workshop you will create 20 macarons from a selection of classic flavours including double dark chocolate, salted caramel, raspberry or blackcurrant. You will make your own flavoured ganache buttercream & personally decorate your creations. By the end of the session you will be confident to produce macarons at home time & again. You will go home with everything you make beautifully packaged & ribboned. Start your chosen workshop by watching the Chocolatier, Angela, demonstrate the process of making the treats, talking you through all the steps. She uses locally grown ingredients, seasonal fruits & home grown herbs, creating a whole choice of different flavours to choose from. You can of course purchase any extra chocolates to take home with you for later!
