Country House Retreat With Afternoon Tea For Two At Hammet House
Hammet House is a luxury four star country house in beautiful Pembrokeshire. In glorious landscaped grounds the house sits on the famous river Teifi on the Pembrokeshire Ceredigion meeting border. This beautiful old country hotel was transformed in 2011, achieving the owners vision of a contemporary-chic country house to delight the modern-day discerning guest. The 15 bedrooms are a spectacular blend of old and new. Light and airy Georgian rooms are styled with contemporary furnishings and facilities. Bathrooms are stocked with luxury Ren products and fluffy soft towels. Drinks try with Canton tea and freshly ground WaDo coffee, along with lovingly made home-baked Hammet House goodies. You will stay in a ‘Cosy Double’ room; these rooms retain the character of the Georgian
house and have a more vintage feel. Subject to availability you will be offered an upgrade to a ‘Good’ room. The good rooms are light and airy large rooms with lovely views over the front or side lawn. Good rooms have super king size beds, with hand-sprung mattresses, Egyptian bed linen and luxury microfiber bedding. Hammet House has been awarded 2 AA rosettes for excellence in food, service and style. Led by head chef Matt Smith they offer stunning contemporary British fine dining dinner menu from 6pm alongside a relaxed all day house menu. Food is served all day at Hammet House in the library bar, dining room, drawing room and outside. Elegant afternoon teas are served in the Library bar, drawing room or den, or outside on the front croquet lawn or South-facing
