Sterling silver diamond daffodil necklace to support Marie Curie Cancer Care To help support Marie Curie Cancer Care & the wonderful help they provide as a charity, Gemondo has created a sterling silver diamond daffodil necklace especially for the charity. The necklace is inspired by the Marie Curie daffodil emblem & their Great Daffodil appeal in March every year. The daffodil pendant features a diamond in the centre of each flower & comes in a special commemorative gift box. Gemondo are supporting Marie Curie by donating £5 from every necklace sold, helping it fund Marie Curie Nurses who care for terminally ill people in their own homes, surrounded by their loved ones Marie Curie Cancer Care has provided care to terminally ill people for over 60 years after being founded on the donation of a diamond engagement ring. Since then, it has become one of the UK's largest charities. Employing more than 2, 700 nurses, doctors & other healthcare professionals, it expects to care for around 27, 000 terminally ill patients in the community & in its 10 hospices this year. The charity is the largest provider of hospice beds outside the NHS & is also a leading authority & driving force in end of life care.
