Graphite Design G Series Hybrid Shaft The G Series hybrid shaft with X Directional Technology (XDT) is the next generation of premium Graphite Design shafts & is designed to be very adaptable to todays vast hybrid head technology. The G Series hybrid shaft performance characteristics favour a mid-high launch trajectory & mid ball spin & are available in 85 grams in Regular, Stiff & X-Stiff flexes & 95 grams in Stiff & X-Stiff flexes. The new X Directional Technology (XDT) incorporates the use of the already proven Graphite Design MSI (Material Stiffness Integration) design method as well this new & unique application of graphite fibre alignment throughout the shaft structure known as (XDT). During the development phase of (XDT), measurable performance gains were discovered through a more balanced distribution of the graphite fibres within the plies of the shaft design.
