This table has a stowable central butterfly leaf & will comfortably seat 6 closed & 10 at a squeeze when open. The centre panels are veneered to avoid problems with splitting which can & does occur especially in warm centrally heated homes where the timber dries out excessively. • Our Brooklyn collection of furniture is made from partially reclaimed oak recovered from the demolition of old buildings. As a consequence it has a wonderful, rustic character & a rich patina built up through the finishing process for reclaimed oak furniture, all of which is done by h&. • It is remarked that this range of reclaimed oak furniture has the unique rustic charm of an old heirloom. This is an oak furniture collection that has been purposefully designed & finished including the ‘letting’ in of timber to fill a hole here & there to save wasting timber. Each piece of reclaimed oak has its own unique identity which makes it so appealing.
