Born in Italy in 1883, Maria Nielli moved to France aged 12, & harnessed a deep love of fashion throughout her teenage years. She married Italian jeweller Luigi Ricci, then worked as a designer for Raffin for 20 years, before launching her own fashion house with her son Robert in 1932. She christened the fashion house Nina Ricci, taking her married name & a nickname she was given as a child. Today, the House of Nina Ricci produces a range of perfumes & toiletries, all of which you can find right here at Fragrance Direct.
