An anti-static coating has been applied to the surface of the filter too to provide easy removal of dust & dirt which furthermore offers resistance against water & oil to aid in cleaning & removal of water drops & fingerprints. The thin filter ring design is ideally-suited for use with wide-angle lenses & features multiple light-blocking ridges a satin finish & a black ink coating to help further reduce the likelihood of surface reflections that can cause lens flare & ghosting.
