Building on the successful Stellar range introduced in 2005 the Stellar Xtreme has been built to full professional specifications for long life & reliable service. The Stellar Xtreme is a new concept in ACDC studio lighting & portable lighting which has many new features aimed firmly & squarely at the professional market. With an almost go anywhere battery pack you can now get that important shot in poor lighting conditions at a wedding. Additional features include fan cooling ensuring that the flash capacitors & associated circuitry are kept to their optimum working temperature even during periods of prolonged use. With a new thermal cut-out device & greater air flow around the capacitors you are assured of stable lighting in demanding conditions. Feature such as the S Type fitting are important to the busy professional allow the widest possible range of light shaping tools to be used like the Interfit Pro range of softboxes these are the perfect combination to Stellar Extreme when fitted to the robust front end mechanism. The rear control panel houses a new grab handle & user friendly controls that allow not only the flash & modelling lamp intensity to be set but also the switches that allow the choice of audible or silent recycling indication & modelling lamp controls & the ADDC control switch. Other features include sensitive infrared & flash sensors & five f-stop stepless adjustment of both flash & modelling lamp fast re-charge coupled with audible & visual 100 recharge indicators add to the ease of use. The new & easy to use mounting bracket allows for repositioning & balancing of large or heavy softboxes ensuring the light is always facing in the right direction. User changeable German flash tubes ensure both long life & colour consistency
