Hand made in the Mediterranean theme & aged to look as though it was pulled from the depths of the Lost Civilisation of Atlantis, this planter would be ideal as the highlight in a modern, minimalist design, or as a little mystery tucked away in a rustic cottage garden. This planter is named after Timaeus of Locri, an Italian philosopher who was the subject of Plato's dialogue " Timaeus". In the dialogue, Timaeus provides the pretext for the Story of Atlantis. Although Atlantis is not discussed until Plato's Critias, Timaeus is responsible for outlining the story from the origin of the universe up until the advent of man. This attractive planter will provided a classic & sophisticated piece for any garden design. These are handmade & fired in a brick kiln wilth wood, as such there will be some variation in colour & finish.
