    The Donuts is the most
    versatile model in the
    Nidecker SnowSurf
    collection and is aimed
    at riders who are looking
    for a board that will
    deliver that classic
    carve on piste whilst
    still giving class
    leading levels of float
    when pushing into the
    backcountry. Built around
    a fully directional
    volume nose shape with
    shortened tail length and
    setback camber profile,
    the Donuts absolutely
    rips in the pow. But get
    it on piste and its
    performance is
    mesmerising; edge hold is
    rock solid, drive both
    into and out of the turn
    is powerful, in fact it
    just makes you want to
    push harder and ride
    faster. Construction wise
    you can tell that
    Nidecker are pretty
    serious about
    performance.Heading this
    up is the all-new
    Nidactive wood core. This
    has been specially
    created using a
    combination of poplar and
    paulownia to deliver a
    powerful and responsive
    flex through the length
    whilst still giving the
    board a super lightweight
    feel.To then further
    enhance performance,
    Nidecker create the
    Donuts structural layers
    from an exclusive
    combination of Tri-Ax and
    Bi-Ax glass. These have
    been specifically
    orientated to react
    faster with steeper
    positive foot angles on
    both the front and back
    feet, giving the board
    faster turn initiation
    and exit and allowing the
    rider to really drive the
    board into and out of the
    turn.To step up the
    torsional flex an extra
    level, the Donuts
    features a top sheet
    created from bamboo
    veneer. Finally to ensure
    that the speed of the
    Donuts matches its high
    end construction,
    Nidecker fit it with a
    9900 base. This is the
    fastest base material on
    the market and finishes
    off this totally awesome

    board combines 19mm of
    taper with a vast surface
    area. This delivers
    unrivalled float in the
    pow and rock-solid
    high-speed stability.
    However, the Gun isn't
    just all about high
    speed. Thanks to the
    innovative shape and
    Fusion Camber profile
    it's surprisingly nimble,
    meaning that this
    doesn't just have to be a
    quiver board, it's more
    than happy enough being
    your everyday ride. Rider

    stable high-speed board
    that kills it in the pow
    and on the piste. Shape
    OverviewAs the
    hard-charging, big
    mountain board of the
    Shaper series, the aptly
    named Gun utilises a
    fully directional
    powder/piste focussed
    shape. The extended nose
    profile short cut-off
    tail and 19mm of taper,
    deliver the perfect
    balance of lift and float
    in the pow with a
    predictable and stable
    feel through the turn.
    Complementing this
    innovative shape is the
    Vario Power Grip sidecut.
    This is formed by
    combining a deeper
    sidecut in front of the
    insert packs with a
    shallow sidecut under the
    feet and a straight
    section in the centre.
    This increases pressure
    into the most important
    parts of the edges adding
    control and response in
    all conditions.
    ProfileKey to the Gun's
    unique surf-inspired ride
    is the Shaper Series
    specific Fusion Rocker
    Camber profile. This
    overall rocker profile
    blends an extended
    transition area in the
    front of the board with
    traditional camber under
    the front foot and a more
    aggressive Ripsaw Camber
    under the back foot. This
    unique profile delivers
    effortless float in the
    nose, but more
    importantly, it adds a
    powerful and dynamic
    drive to the board,
    providing that trench
    laying on-piste
    performance.
    ConstructionInternally
    the Gun doesn't hold back
    when it comes to high-end
    construction and heading
    this up is the NS
    SuperLight wood core.
    This lightweight core
    combines a custom blend
    of wood species to create
    one of the lightest and
    most durable cores on the
    market. This is then
    reinforced with Never
    Summers advanced
    structural layers formed
    from a combination of
    playful Bi-Lite glass and
    STS pre-tensioned glass
    running the length of the
    effective edge. These
    create a solid and stable
    ride while still allowing
    the board to be a little
    bit more progressive
    through the middle. Now
    as the Gun is all about
    high performance and
    stability, it utilises
    the powerful Carbon Max
    Laminate technology. This
    combines an advanced top
    and bottom carbon matrix
    to maximise response and
    strength where it's
    needed most, resulting
    in a lightweight yet
    powerful configuration
    that provides customised
    torsional rigidity and
    energy transfer without
    sacrificing control.
    BaseThis super-fast,
    durable sintered base has
    been designed
    specifically for
    high-performance boards.
    Just the right amount of
    graphite has been added
    making the DURASURF XT
    SINTeReD 5501 BASe the
