Product Description

Binchotan White Charcoal has been used in Japan since the Edo period to purify air & water. Binchotan is made from ubame oak wood using traditional methods of controlled burning. The texture of the charcoal makes it highly absorbent, removing chlorine & other impurities from water. Due to it's alkaline effect, Binchotan naturally ionizes water, softening the taste. It looks very beautiful in a glass jug, & will encourage you to drink more water. Binchotan water purifying charcoal can be used for three months, then recycled by breaking up into small pieces & adding to your garden soil. Dimensions: 18 x 1.5cm
