- & it actually has flavour! Produces crisp, dense hearts which stand well. Verpia This excellent butterhead does well in cool conditions & it is especially cold-tolerant. Good sized heads with a fine flavour. Bijou Attractive enough for the flower border, this cut-&-come again variety has glossy, red-bronze leaves which look so healthy & are attractive in the salad bowl. Little Gem Pearl We all love Little Gem cos lettuce, but this superb selection is even better! Tight little heads are just packed with sweetness & succulence. Simply mouthwatering. Sweetheart A very tasty romaine type thats crisp, sweet & quick to mature. Very disease resistant.
