Product Description

Hakushu Bourbon Barrel is a superior single malt whisky made from carefully selected Hakushu malts. Haukushu is the second of Suntory's distillieries & is set in the forest of MT. Kaikomagatake in the Japanese Southern Alps 700 meters above sea level making it one of the highest distilleries in the world. The water used in the construction of the Hakushu bourbon barrel comes straight from the top of the mountain, & as it trickles down it gets natural filtering through 1000 year old granite rocks giving it a rare softness & purity. The Bourbon Barrel is a release aged solely in a first fill bourbon Barrel, giving it a rich vanilla character.
