Briska cider is made in Sweden & get its fruit from the famous region of Osterlen that is known for cultivating fruit. The Briska Distillery is located in Kiviks which is the fruit capital of Osterlen. The Kiviks Musteri is a family run cider mill that produces only the finest cider. The apples used are picked by hands & after the harvest they are sorted by type with each apple being chosen for its taste & level of acidity to achieve the right balance of the final product. The selected apples are gently pressed pressed & squeezed to obtain the must (juice), which is then fermented for two to three weeks into apple wine. At the Spendrups Brewery, the apple wine is blended with water & some other ingredients, carbonated & bottled.
