The water used is pure & soft that comes from the Mannoch hills that are located right next to the distillery as is the malted barley used. The Barley is slowly distilled in small batches in swan necked copper stills that are constantly watched drop by drop. Once the spirit is distilled it is then left to age in specifically selected oak barrels for 18 years, producing quite a bold single malt whisky. It is sweet & smooth in body with a rich texture. It has a complex nature with fruit aromas & is stylish, soft & sophisticated on the palate. It has a fruity heart which is encompassed in flavours of chocolate that build to a long, satisfying finish.
