Aged for a minimum of 8 years in the chalk cellars. A dedicated bottle inspired by those used in the time of Madame Clicquot, sealed to guarantee the authenticity of this precious wine. La Grande Dame 1989 boasts a pale golden colour with glints of jade. The crystal clear wine offers an incredibly fine effervescence. The nose initially recognizes the noble character of the Chardonnay with its floral & mineral aromas. When the wine is swirled in the glass, scents of candied fruit come to the fore, gradually giving way to the more rare hints of peaty malt & tobacco.
