10 cane is premium rum created by the experts at Moet Hennessy, the worlds premium luxury spirits producer. Given the name 10 cane because traditionally, sugar cane stalks are harvested in bundles of 10. It also takes 10 fresh & long sugar cane stalks to make one bottle of 10 cane rum. After being harvested it is time for the canes to be pressed, 10 cane uses the first press of the sugar canes because this is contains the purest & most flavourful juice. Once the juice is extracted from the canes it is rushed off to ferment in stainless steel tanks for 5 days, this allows slow development of the aromas. The extracted sugar cane juice is then distilled twice in small batch French pot stills ensuring optimal yet gentle extraction of the aroma. It is then laid to aged for one year in vintage French oak barrels to achieve its light gold colour, brilliantly balanced mouth feel & a rounded finish.
