Ceanothus x pallida Marie Simon is a deciduous shrub with long oval mid-green leaves and fluffy clusters of pink flowers in late spring and early summer, sometimes with a second flush of flowers in late summer or early autumn. It needs a sunny, sheltered site and a moist, well drained soil. A lovely and unusual shrub for a mixed border or against a sunny wall. Height 100-150cm. Supplied in a 3 litre pot.
A truly garden worthy hybrid that combines strong growth, dark green leaves, hardiness and compact habit. Delicate soft fuzzy misty blue blue flowers appear in spring, followed by red seed capsules that extend garden interest in late summer. Highly versatile and tolerant of dry and infertile soils. Excellent low mounded form, ideal for massing in the landscape or order
