    Masking tape is available
    in two widths (approx 1
    inch and 2 inches wide)
    and is designed for
    temporary fixing. This
    crepe finish paper tape
    is easy tear and the low
    tack adhesive is designed
    to leave no residue if
    removed within 24 hours.
    As rolls age the adhesive
    on the exposed edges can
    become brittle causing
    the paper to tear along
    the length as it is
    applied. To avoid this,
    buy masking tape as
    required and store
    part-used rolls in a
    clean air tight plastic
    bag or cling film
    avoiding extremes of
    temperature.
