Offering riders who are after more of a lower, sporty front end & a rigid, lightweight, positive feel, the NYC Edition Brompton features a front carrier for on-the-go city luggage. The 2-speed option has one gear for hills & starting off, & one for cruising. Based on the unique Brompton derailleur system, with near perfect chain-alignment, this is the best set-up for flexibility & portability. Perfect for carrying onto trains & buses, the frame & handlebars fold down into a small package that's only a little larger than its wheels. Once folded, the bike has no protrusions or loose parts, & will carry like a small suitcase. Its chain & gears are kept away from clothing & luggage when folded & lights & cables are kept out of the way so there's no snagging on clothing if you take it on the train.
