Javier Cejas has been working in the hospitality business for four years now, in a cocktail bar to be precise. This barman from Barcelona is a Fine Arts graduate who decided his thing was mixing drinks after he realized the art world was not for him.
The book starts with a chapter dedicated to the etymology of the word "cocktail" & goes on to relate 28 stories associated with 28 cocktails (along with their respective recipes).
The illustrations & the texts are in pencil & they’re really amazing, as are the curious stories created by Javier Cejas.
In addition to Gin-Tonic he’s written Spain for the foreigners, also published by Editorial Morsa.
