- 6 x 50 Litre Bags Pro-Grow peat free compost is made from sustainable organic materials (composted recycled green waste, bark, forestry products), & is suitable for a wide range of plants of all ages in pots, planters, hanging baskets, beds, & borders. This multi-purpose compost contains high quality growing media blended with fertiliser, & is designed to boost the health of your plants for 6-8 weeks. As well as aiding soil fertility, structure, & moisture retention, it also encourages healthy root growth, helps break down heavy clay soils, & provides essential nutrients including nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, manganese, & sulphur. Peat free compost helps to protect the environment & support biodiversity. It is made from sustainable organic materials & often contains added nutrients.  Read more about how to use Pro-Grow Peat Free Compost here.  Some plants are unsuitable for growing in peat free compost, including acid-loving & lime-hating plants like heathers, rhododendrons, & camellias.
