This course teaches the fundamental concepts & features of People Soft Commitment Control. Students gain working knowledge of the issues involved in a standard Commitment Control implementation.
The students create their own business units & the setup of Commitment Control, defining budgets, & then creating budget journals, & budget checking transactions. They create budgets & budget check transaction through the Procure-to-Pay cycle, Project Costing & Expenses. The course concludes with conducting the budget close, & options associated with closing your budget & rolling over open purchase orders to the next budget period.
