The Implementing Cisco Quality of Service (QOS) course provides students with in-depth knowledge of IP Qo S requirements, conceptual models using Differentiated Services (Diff Serv), Integrated Services (Int Serv) & Best Effort (over provisioning), & the implementation of IP Qo S on Cisco IOS switch & router platforms.
The curriculum covers the theory of IP Qo S, design issues, & configuration of various Qo S mechanisms to facilitate the creation of effective administrative policies providing Qo S. Case studies & lab exercises included in the course help students to apply the concepts mastered in individual modules to real-life scenarios.
The course also gives students design & usage rules for various advanced IP Qo S features & the integration of IP Qo S with underlying Layer 2 Qo S mechanisms, allowing them to design & implement efficient, optimized, & trouble-free multi-service networks
