The G3+ Filter replacement for the Grayl Water Filtration Cup combines three advanced filter technologies to make tap water safe to drink & taste great.A triple ion charged (+++) mesh captures 99.99% of bacteria (such as E. coli & Salmonella) & 99.94% of protozoan cysts (including Cryptosporidium & Giardia). Ultra-powdered activated carbon derived from coconut husks absorbs odours & flavors, industrial & pharmaceutical chemicals (including BPA, benzene & chlorine), & heavy metals (such as lead & arsenic). An antimicrobial agent inhibits the growth of mold, bacteria, fungus & mildew between uses.
