The completely new hard disks series &bdquo Barracuda LP &ldquo (LP means &bdquo Low power &ldquo ) of Seagate is there, and even developed and manufactured from leading offerer of high performance desktop hard disks. The emphasis was put however with these hard disks on small current consumption, good cooling and quiet enterprise (with an affordable entrance price). These hard disks puts more possibilities to the user with smaller current consumption at the disposal. &bdquo The Barracuda LP &ldquo offers indeed a very small current consumption. Small power consumption is however not equivalent to small achievement any longer. The results of the bench mark performance tests occupy the advantages: Spindle speed of 5, 900 rpm (compared with competition products with 5, 400 rpm). In
addition these hard disks has a good cooling and needs often less fan, a smaller power supply and less maintenance. That is the epitome of energy efficiency.

All hard disks are supplied with instructions.
